FTI Young Weekend: FTI GROUP invests in the future

The Munich-based tour operator launched a campaign for young talent in the tourism industry. The first event was the FTI Young Weekend, which took place for the first time in two years.

After the Corona break, an entire weekend was dedicated to young tourism staff: from 5 to 7 August 2022, the tour operator invited young tourism professionals to the Bavarian capital. Around 100 tour operator clerks followed the call to further their networks, to inform themselves, but also to have fun. 
FTI organised workshops as well as a travel fair with partners such as HanseMerkur, AMR Collection, MELIA Hotels International and Zell am See-Kaprun and invited the up-and-coming industry professionals to various tours of the state capital. In line with the mottoes "Explore", "Taste", "Relax" and "Enjoy", the participants set off on a bicycle and delicacy tour through Munich, took part in a barista course or explored Munich's Olympia Park. The weekend ended with a party tram ride including buffet, drinks and DJ.
The FTI Young Weekend is the starting signal for a young talent campaign of the company. "We want to make the industry more attractive for newcomers," emphasises FTI Director Sales & Marketing Richard Reindl.
