The “Touristik Vertriebsgesellschaft” (TVG) has been running the blog www.ferien-welten.de since 2014. The content is provided for sonnenklar.TV travel agencies and their channels. From now on the website convinces with a design update and new features.

Successful travel inspiration is often based on a mixture of good storytelling with exciting stories, recommendations from personal experiences and authentic photos that arouse curiosity or inspire dreaming. Travel blogs provide the perfect basis for this - also professionals show this with successful blogs like "Travel epidemics", "Globusliebe" & Co... Corporate blogs have also been a trend in the tourism industry for the past few years. Pioneer TVG has been running its blog www.ferien-welten.de since 2014. More than one million readers have already used the website for their holiday planning and more than 150 TVG travel agencies have transferred the content via RSS feed to their own platforms, websites and marketing measures. After five years the popular platform now has a fresh look.

The relaunch – live since 19 July 2019 – includes a design update and even better usability as well as a number of new features, for example a world map with video content. The presentation of all continents and pin markings provides a clear overview of the destinations to which video material was shot. This eliminates the need for filter functions or archive searches. For travel agencies in particular, the new pdf creation feature is also exciting. Blog contributions, which are interesting as travel tips, can be exported as a pdf with one click.

"Our Ferien-Welten Blog is also represented on YouTube. The channel enjoys great popularity - we are on the verge of crossing the one million view mark. We are also active on Facebook and since last year on Instagram," explains Birgit Aust, TVG Managing Director. "We have a permanent team of filmmakers and bloggers so we can provide our readers and partners with exclusive and authentic material. We also integrate the videos into our steles and screens, for example. After five years, now it is the time to upgrade the blog as a source of inspiration and make it even more attractive. In this way, we keep our finger on the pulse and serve modern touch points that inspire younger target groups in particular.”
