The FTI GROUP opened the second Design Plus brand store in Alaçati, Turkey.
The Seya Beach Hotel in Alaçati, the second hotel of the Design Plus brand, opened on Friday, 6 July 2018 in one of the most beautiful bays in the Turkish Aegean. The design-oriented, cosmopolitan hotel with 190 rooms and suites with direct beach access is now setting a new standard on the Çeşme peninsula. The inauguration ceremony offered those present – including FTI GROUP shareholder Sami Sawiris and Turkish businessman Mustafa Suzer – a foretaste of what guests can expect from now on. "This was a historic day for Design Plus," says Roula Jouny, CCO and Managing Director of the FTI GROUP after the opening party. "With the Seya Beach Hotel we have succeeded in further developing our modern high-end hotel concept." In the hotel's own open-air Seya Beach Club guests were served international specialities and selected drinks with live music.
"Seya Beach Hotel is different from all the other hotels we've opened so far. It is unique in the hotel landscape of Çeşme and sets new standards for the design hotel industry," explains Roula Jouny. "It reflects the architecture, culture and atmosphere of its surroundings while exuding an international flair. It was a challenge to achieve this mixture, but we succeeded," boasts Roula Jouny.
The interior design of the lobby, restaurants and rooms – most of them with sea views – incorporates the natural materials and colours palette of the region. In the generously redesigned outdoor area, holidaymakers can indulge themselves at the snack or sunset bar as well as in the à-la-carte restaurant. Beach beds, a large pool and wooden jetties with sun loungers towering above the water invite you to relax. The highlight is the Seya Beach Club, where a DJ plays casual lounge beats during the day and into the night. The Beach Club is set to become the trendy attraction for national and international visitors to Çeşme and Alaçati.
Close to the charming town of Alaçati, Seya Beach guests can spice up their exclusive beach holiday with a pinch of city flair. The town on the Çeşme peninsula on the Turkish west coast is known for its picturesque stone houses, winding alleys, inviting cafés and its surroundings are characterised by vineyards and scattered windmills.
The celebrations were crowned by the Design4You motto, which will be part of the philosophy of every Design Plus hotel. The concept is designed to celebrate a chic lifestyle in which the extraordinary is the norm. Among other things, four specially mixed signature drinks from the first-class bartenders will turn the motto into reality. Four signature dishes created exclusively for Design Plus will also be served. All establishments of the brand also offer top-class restaurants in which guests can enjoy modern, international dishes – always with a touch of the local cuisine.
With the BEX Hotel on Gran Canaria, which opened its doors in February, and the Seya Beach Hotel on the Aegean coast, lovers of extraordinary hotels can already find two representatives of the design hotel brand. In the near future, the hotel collection will continue to grow under the umbrella of MP Hotels.
