On 16 September 2023, World Cleanup Day took place, a global initiative that promotes a clean and healthy environment. The FTI GROUP's own hotels in Turkey, Greece and Italy supported the international call with their own rubbish collection campaigns. In Turkey, the hard-working helpers not only collected rubbish that was washed up on the beach, but even dived in the water with divers. In Greece, even the motivated guests pitched in and helped to dispose of rubbish on the coasts. The Italian team also picked up bottles, lids and other plastic around the properties and weeded and planted new trees. All actions worldwide set an example for more sustainability and responsibility in tourism. The FTI GROUP is convinced that travelling not only brings pleasure and relaxation, but also involves respect and appreciation for the nature and culture of the countries visited.
